How it works?

Wood fired whirlpool is a round barrel designed for bathing, made of high quality wood and equipped with a wood-burning furnace. The furnace is heated with wood and after a couple of hours of heating one can enjoy bathing in hot water – in the open air, in a garden or on a terrace. The water circulates between the stove and the tub using the principal of thermosiphon (the movement created by rising hot water) and eliminates the need for a circulating pump or electricity.

The tub has benches inside that let one enjoy his or her time with more comfort. Serving board can also be placed on the hot tub’s edge, so that all the food and drinks are within a hand’s reach.

All prices on our website include all taxes, customs fees and shipping costs to the UK mainland.

The hot tubs up to 2 meters will be delivered as fully assembled to the kerbside by a 3rd party shipping company.

All bigger hot tubs and all saunas will be delivered as fully assembled with a big 40 ton truck (arctic truck) by a 3rd party shipping company and the unloading must be organized on site with a crane, forklift, tractor etc. The delivery location should be easily accessible for such a large truck.

We will inform and give the estimated time of arrival of the goods. The shipping company will also call before their arrival to agree the delivering time so the unloading would go smoothly.

Thermally Modified Wood

Thermo-processed wood is produced by treating softwood timber in kilns at very high temperatures which alters the cellular structures of the timber. As a result that makes the timber far more stable, especially so in changing climates.

What is kilning?

The process of kilning the timber is environmentally friendly. Thermo-processed wood is made through a chemical-free process using heat vapour and steam. The wood material is heated to a temperature of at least 180 degrees Celsius while it is protected with steam.

2. Thermal processing completely eliminates resin.

3. Thermal processing increases durability of wood and increases immunity against impact of environment. For example, thermally processed wood according to its durability characteristics can be compared to oak.

4. Thermo-processed wood is darker than natural wood, more weatherproof and more resistant to rot.

5. Its insulation qualities are better, it suffers from less moisture deformation and is more stable.

6. The equilibrium moisture is up to 50% less than natural wood, which makes thermo-processed wood a better option for use in outdoor conditions.
